Bob Chitrathorn, CFO/Co- Founder and VP of Wealth Planning Inspiration has no boundaries and can spring from the most unlikely places, even a shattered glass vase filled with jellybeans.
This was true of young Bob Chitrathorn, who went on to become one of the co-founders, the CFO, and the VP of wealth management at Simplified Wealth Management.
Hailing from a humble life and surviving with modest means, Chitrathorn was always aware of the value of money. As a kid, when he accidentally broke a glass vase with jellybeans, he realized how difficult it would be for his family to replace the broken vase with a new one. This realization served as a turning point that pushed him to pursue his desire to help people with their wealth management endeavors and financial security. It was also the beginning of a life-altering journey that shaped Chitrathorn’s career and entrepreneurial future.
Through the years, Chitrathorn’s mother’s words, “education is money in the bank,” continued to be his driving force, inspiring him to receive a full-ride scholarship for his college education, where he received his B.S. in finance and real estate while minoring in business administration. Despite the rigorous curriculum, Chitrathorn graduated magna cum laude and was named part of the Golden Key Honor Society.
There was no looking back from there for Chitrathorn as he chose his passion in finance and, in 2004, became a financial advisor. Garnering over 18 years of industry experience, he co-founded Simplified Wealth Management, a value-based boutique wealth and investment management firm committed to delivering personalized guidance to a select group of individuals, families, and business owners.
A true leader, Chitrathorn envisions becoming a catalyst for guiding clients toward financial independence by delivering tailored wealth planning services, including investment planning, distribution strategies for retirement income, estate-conservation planning, and risk management analysis. He also sends out questionnaires regarding risk tolerance levels to learn about their goals, when they want to retire, how much money they want to save, and by what age to formulate a financial plan that helps them achieve these objectives.
To help answer questions regarding insurance planning, including Medicare insurance planning, critical and chronic insurance planning, life insurance, long-term, home healthcare cost planning and management, and guidance about pet insurance, Chitrathorn works closely with clients and supports their financial decisions. He also assists them with investment, college, retirement, legacy, and wealth planning, allowing them to save on college costs, and formulating proper budgeting plans, while helping them plan and save on trust and estate planning, refi and home loans, daily expenses, and monthly services. In addition, clients can make the most of their current work plan retirement accounts under Chitrathorn’s guidance as he educates them about easy-to-apply concepts.

The strategy was designed to significantly increase his principal amount and protect it in case he has any long-term care issues. In addition, it will allow this client to leave behind a significant amount from a death benefit from a life insurance policy to his beneficiaries tax-free.
