A payment orchestration platform developed by Gr4vy will drive Wpay's payment platform in the future
FREMONT, CA: "Merchants need payment platforms that deliver customers' preferred payment methods at checkout while still retaining the ability to streamline, deploy and orchestrate all the back-office payment complexities that come with the retail checkout experience," states John Lunn, Founder, and CEO of Gr4vy. "We're honored that Gr4vy's no-code orchestration platform's technology has been selected to power Wpay's payments platform to accelerate their growth as an end-to-end payments solution provider to merchants in Australia and New Zealand. We look forward to our continued strong working relationship and future collaborations with Wpay and Woolworths Group."
Woolworths Group, Australia & New Zealand's largest retailer, has signed a multi-year agreement with Gr4vy, a cloud-native payments infrastructure provider. Wpay is Woolworths Group's payment platform powered by Gr4vy's payment orchestration platform (POP). Australian Woolworths brands and other Wpay merchants will benefit from this partnership, as Wpay can easily deploy and manage payment complexities.
Woolworths Group is the largest merchant processor in Australia, handling more than 1.1 billion payments in 2022 alone, valued at more than $60 billion. Woolworths Group's Wpay, a new standalone payment service, extends the benefits of its payments platform to other merchants who may need help to build it themselves.
"Wpay is committed to investing in leading-edge payment capabilities and technologies to help service our retail businesses and provide the best possible customer experience as part of our Wpay payments platform," said Paul Monnington, Managing Director of Wpay. "I'm excited about this partnership, what it will bring to our merchants' customer payments experiences and look forward to collaborating in the future."
With Gr4vy's collaboration with Wpay, the product infrastructure and capabilities of Gr4vy products were carefully identified and delivered to enhance and enhance the already comprehensive payment platform. Through the Wpay platform, merchants can now offer a greater variety of payment options, streamline the checkout process and manage transactions more effectively, driving a better customer experience.
Gr4vy's payment orchestration layer seamlessly integrates the right payment method for each user while deploying, managing, customizing, and optimizing it. Cloud-based Gr4vy instances are dedicated to merchants, preventing shared infrastructure and servers. Multi-instance Gr4vy can reduce failure points. Merchants also have access to Gr4vy's payment infrastructure, which includes connectors to leading providers, front-end and backend payment orchestration tools, and a dashboard to control everything. Gr4vy can create individualized cloud instances based on needs. Customers can always find the payment solutions they need no matter where they are, even on the Edge.
